Resume:
I am a research professor at the Institute of Psychology, Chinese Academy of Sciences since 2010. I joined the Institute for Pediatric Neuroscience at NYU Langone Medical Center as an associate research scientist (2008-2010). My scientific mission is to understand the "resting" brain dynamics and their relevance to various psychiatric abnormality (Senior mentor: F. Xavier Castellanos; Mentor: Michael P. Milham). I have completed a postdoctoral research training at the National Laboratory of Pattern Recognition, CAS and spent a lot time on exploring "resting" brain research at the State Key Laboratory of Cognitive Neuroscience and Learning, Beijing Normal University (Mentor: Yu-Feng Zang). I got my B.S. degree on Mathematical Education from Capital Normal University in 1999, and then studied Probability Theory and Statistics (Mentor: Yi-Ci Zhang) in the same university for a M.S. degree in 2002. After that, I enrolled the School of Mathematics at Beijing Normal University and majored Applied Mathematics. In June 2005, I finished the Ph.D. defense with a dissertation on Mathematical Modeling on Biological Image Processing (Mentor: Lai-Fu Liu).
